London, UK, 10 February 2010 - Toshiba UK has today revealed a selection of innovative new products for 2010, including its first ever Freeview HD televisions, a touchscreen ultraportable laptop and impressive line up of Blu-ray and DVD players.

The 2010 REGZA range
Toshiba has announced the new REGZA LCD TV range for 2010, including the first models to offer integrated Freeview HD. The new REGZA WL and SL Series, which also features LED backlight technology, allow viewers to enjoy stunning high-definition broadcasts without the need for expensive subscription packages or additional hardware; for the first time. Both models also feature a new, ultra slim panel, to complement the impressive images on screen.

The REGZA RV and XV Series both feature Full HD screens across the range, a selection of additional picture and audio enhancement features, and introduces the option of Wireless DNLA connectivity, for streaming content from laptops or PCs.

Offering a wide consumer choice, the 2010 range also features new models that offer outstanding value for money. The REGZA AV Series is ideal for those looking for an affordable television with a superior picture performance, whilst the new REGZA DV Series features an integrated DVD player for greater functionality.

The 2010 DVD & Blu-ray range
Toshiba's 2010 line-up of DVD players, recorders and portable players feature a wide range of features including USB connectivity and strong file format support, whilst HDMI connectivity on select models provides 1080p upscaling, ideal for those watching HD ready televisions. The models are available in a new slim design and a slick, gloss black finish.

In addition to the new collection of DVD decks, Toshiba has also unveiled its first Freeview HD+ DTR, featuring 500GB of internal memory and extensive connectivity. Further, the BDX2100 becomes Toshiba's second Blu-ray Disc player, bolstering its high-definition product range.

Satellite and Tecra Laptops
The Satellite U500-1EX is a stylish, ultraportable laptop with a difference - thanks to its 33.8cm (13.3") touchscreen display, it offers a higher level of interaction with Windows 7, as well as a selection of touchscreen specific programs to enhance day-to-day computing.

New business laptops also launched today alongside the new Satellite U500, featuring enhanced ergonomics designed for everyday use in the workplace and a selection of powerful processor options. The Tecra A11 and M11 are business laptops offering a speedy performance thanks to the latest Intel Core i Series processors, as well as advanced security and connectivity options. The Satellite Pro S500 is a lightweight 39.6cm (15.6") business laptop, designed for workers looking for efficient and reliable computing.

Digital Products
The Dynadock V10 is a new, compact port replicator, designed to improve the connectivity of laptop and netbook users working form a desk. Requiring only one USB 2.0 laptop connection, the Dynadock provides instant connectivity with multiple devices, and enables 1080p video content to be played back on additional monitors.
